Child Safety Standards
1. Our Commitment
Minglo is a social communication platform dedicated to authentic, safe, and respectful interactions. Protecting minors from harm is our highest obligation. We maintain an uncompromising zero-tolerance policy towards any form of Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE) and Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM).
Zero-Tolerance Principle: Any individual attempting to produce, share, solicit, promote, or engage with CSAM or exploit a minor on Minglo will have their account immediately terminated, their device permanently barred, and will be reported to statutory law enforcement authorities and international child protection bodies without exception.
2. Prohibited Content & Behavior
Minglo strictly prohibits the presence or participation of minors as well as any interaction, content, or conduct that threatens child well-being:
- Age Restriction (No Users Under Legal Age): Minglo is strictly designed for adults. Users under 13 years of age (or under the applicable legal age of majority in their jurisdiction) are strictly prohibited from creating accounts, accessing, or using the platform.
- Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM): Generating, hosting, transmitting, uploading, sharing, requesting, or distributing visual media (photos, videos), illustrations, digital renderings, synthetic media (AI-generated imagery), or text depicting or simulating the sexual abuse or sexualization of minors.
- Child Sexual Grooming: Initiating, engaging in, or facilitating communication intended to establish emotional bonds, trust, or familiarity with a minor to prepare them for sexual abuse, exploitation, or improper contact.
- Sexualization of Minors: Any media, profile detail, audio note, or chat conversation that portrays or suggests minors in sexually suggestive, inappropriate, or erotic positions, garments, or contexts.
- Solicitation & Inappropriate Requests: Soliciting, requesting, or coercing minors into sharing personal contact information, physical meeting locations, private imagery, or live video interactions.
- Sextortion & Blackmail: Coercing, threatening, or blackmailing any individual with intimate, private, or fabricated media involving minors.
- Child Trafficking & Commercial Exploitation: Advertising, organizing, facilitating, or participating in the sale, commercial sexual exploitation, or forced servitude of minors.
3. Prevention Measures
We employ multiple operational, technical, and procedural defenses to prevent minor endangerment and detect illicit behavior:
- Rigorous Host KYC & Verification: All service providers and hosts must complete strict Know-Your-Customer (KYC) identity verification, submitting government-issued identification that is manually vetted by administrators before any call or interaction privileges are enabled.
- Age Screening & Gates: Multi-step onboarding prompts verify user eligibility. Accounts detected or reported to belong to underage users are suspended immediately.
- Proactive Content Moderation: We deploy automated keyword detection, pattern filtering, and trained human moderators to identify and flag suspicious behavior, text patterns, and policy violations.
- Real-Time Call & Chat Controls: Users have total autonomy to disconnect any ongoing voice or video call instantly, mute participants, and block any user with a single tap.
- Hardware & Fingerprint Blacklisting: Violating devices, phone numbers, and associated account credentials are automatically blacklisted across the platform to prevent bad actors from reappearing with new accounts.
4. In-App Reporting
Every user on Minglo has immediate access to built-in reporting mechanisms available directly within the interface:
- Profile Reporting: Tap the options menu (three dots or flag icon) on any user or host profile and select "Report".
- In-Chat Reporting: Report any direct message or conversation thread instantly through the chat options menu.
- Call Reporting: Report an abusive or violating user during or immediately following an audio or video call session.
Prompt Review Commitment: Reports involving Child Safety, CSAE, or minor endangerment are automatically prioritized with the highest escalation level. Our safety team investigates and acts on these reports promptly (24/7). All reports are handled with absolute confidentiality—the reported user is never notified of the identity of the reporting party.
5. Enforcement Actions
Minglo takes swift, decisive, and uncompromising enforcement action when a violation of our Child Safety Standards is identified or substantiated:
- Immediate Content Removal: The offending media, profile information, or messages are removed and rendered inaccessible immediately.
- Permanent Account Ban: The violating user or host account is permanently terminated with no opportunity for appeal or restoration. Any platform wallet balances or earnings are permanently revoked.
- Device Blacklisting: Associated unique device identifiers, telephone numbers, IP addresses, and linked authentication accounts are permanently blocked.
- Evidence Preservation: In accordance with statutory legal requirements, digital forensic logs, transaction histories, and media evidence are securely preserved in encrypted storage to support criminal investigations.
6. Reporting to Authorities
Minglo does not treat CSAE or CSAM as internal platform issues. Where child exploitation or sexual abuse material is identified, we report the activity to competent authorities:
- NCMEC (National Center for Missing & Exploited Children): We file detailed incident reports with NCMEC’s CyberTipline, supporting cross-border law enforcement actions.
- National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal (cybercrime.gov.in) & NCPCR (India): In India, cases are formally escalated through the Ministry of Home Affairs' National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal (cybercrime.gov.in) and to the National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR).
- Local & International Law Enforcement: We proactively collaborate with police authorities and judicial bodies, providing evidentiary data pursuant to valid legal process and emergency disclosure protocols.
7. Legal Compliance
Minglo operates in strict conformity with national and international child protection, cyber safety, and digital intermediary laws, including:
- The Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, 2012 (India): Adhering to statutory mandates requiring the reporting of sexual offenses against children and the prohibition of storage, publication, or transmission of abusive material involving minors.
- The Information Technology Act, 2000 & IT Intermediary Rules, 2021 (India): Fulfilling strict intermediary due diligence obligations, expedited 24-hour content takedown requirements, and providing transparent grievance redressal mechanisms.
- Applicable Global Child Protection Frameworks: Complying with international best practices and application distribution standards for child sexual abuse prevention.
8. Child Safety Contact
Minglo has appointed a designated officer to oversee child safety compliance, review escalations, and interface with law enforcement and child advocacy organizations:
